Getting Figurative
I’ve switched over to an iPad for all of my work beyond the day job — it’s all part of my rediscovered ethic of serious play. I also figure that I should keep the day job and this work on separate devices, to clearly demarcate them in my mind. So, I’ve had to adjust my workflow, but with iOS 17 there’s little I’m not able to do. Some things are though a bit quirky.
Recently, I suggested that I’d be trying Figma, to get into UX design. That’s because I’m moving into the product build phase of ConnectCurateCreate. I really want something to put into people’s hand while we’re talking about arts funding, see how they/you receive it, learn from our interactions, go back to the drawing board, and work on it some more. With every iteration, we should get closer and closer to a product that we actually need in the world — one people will use and trust.
